Position Title:  High Performance Operations and Logistics Coordinator
Reports To:      High Performance Manager
Location:         Sir Owen Glenn National Aquatic Centre 14 Antares Place, Mairangi Bay Auckland
PositionType:  Permanent Full time.

Position Purpose:
Swimming New Zealand (SNZ) is the governing body of swimming in NZ and is responsible for the development, growth and leadership of the sport from grassroots to high performance. SNZ’s Vision is “inspirational swimmers, exciting the nation through exceptional results and our Purpose is “to promote and grow swimming for sport, fitness and safety for all kiwis”.

To help us achieve our vision and purpose, we are now seeking an exceptional High Performance Operations and Logistics Coordinator who will be responsible for assisting the High Performance Manager with the daily operation and delivery of Swimming NZ’s High Performance programme including pinnacle events such as the World Championships and Olympic Games.

The High Performance Operations and Logistics Coordinator will undertake a wide array of administrative tasks in support of the HP programme and provide administrative support to members of the HP team.  The successful applicant will have a high level of computer literacy, an exceptional grasp of the English language and be available to work weekends and nights to meet the needs of the SNZ events programme.

Key Responsibilities:

▪       National Development Squad, Youth & Age Team Campaign support (Domestic and International).

▪       High Performance Programme Support.

▪       Coordination of general administration duties.

▪       Nomination and Selection Criteria administration.

▪       Uniform, travel and event logistics.

▪       HP website and social media support

Selection Criteria:

▪       Able to demonstrate a very high level of computerliteracy.

▪       Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with internal and externalcustomers.

▪       Experience in working in a smallteam.

▪       Interest in sport and sportindustry.

▪       Good organisational skills and ability to cope with various taskssimultaneously.

▪       Ability to work weekends and evenings on an as and when requiredbasis.
